The chart above graphically displays the impact of SMG’s Buying Agility™ process over time.
 
Using Buying Agility™ results in non-standard agreements with prices and terms that the buyer does not qualify for.
 
Most buyers start negotiations with no agility (top red line).
 
The buyer’s goal is then usually just to get prices in line with established market prices sometimes referred to as benchmarks or indexes (middle blue line), which almost always favors the incumbent.
 
With Buying Agility™ (bottom green line), the buyer will pay 10% to 40% below the market price.
